Some airlines are making plans to go “carbon neutral” over the next decade.

What does that really mean? It’s not possible for an airline to eliminate carbon emissions, so instead the airline will have to get there by buying carbon offsets or other costly methods to achieve the “neutral” label.

Do you oppose questionable plans that will cost you more to fly?

Such programs will likely only drive up ticket prices for consumers, while wasting money much better spent on increasing efficiency and wages for workers.
