A bipartisan permitting reform breakthrough

The Supreme Court limited its scope last month. President Donald Trump changed how federal agencies enforce it during his first month in office. Republicans tried to rewrite it in the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, but were thwarted by the parliamentarian. Now, permitting reformers are back, this time with a bipartisan House bill that would provide much-needed regulatory relief from the National Environmental Policy Act to virtually every sector of the economy.
