Natural gas power plant authorized in Ohio, will supply adjacent data center

WOOD COUNTY, Ohio — The Ohio Power Siting Board (OPSB) has authorized the construction of a natural gas-fired electrical generation facility in Wood County, a plant that will be used solely to serve the electrical load of the under-construction data center in Middleton Township.
