Pragmatic Policies Can Foster a Clean Energy Future

The U.S. is at a critical moment in defining its energy future, as we seek to balance emissions reductions, efficiency and energy security with rising consumer costs across the economy. Incentivizing the adoption of developed and emerging natural technologies like renewable natural gas and hydrogen will help meet emissions goals. These efforts should simultaneously be paired with policies that modernize and build on the benefits of the existing natural gas infrastructure — which already serves millions of Americans — to increase efficiency, limit environmental impacts, and increase resiliency.
