Afternoon TEA: Five new jobs for every one manufacturing job

Over the last decade, the surge in production from the shale revolution has helped create 1.4 million new manufacturing jobs for Americans with low-cost, American energy that fuels job growth. But that’s only the beginning.
According to the National Association of Manufacturers, for every worker in manufacturing, another five jobs are created elsewhere. And, for every one dollar spent in the manufacturing sector, another $2.74 is added to the U.S. economy. And, natural gas helps fuel it all.
