Afternoon TEA: Natural gas is making America stronger and safer
Did you know?
America’s reliance on foreign energy sources has declined significantly in recent years, due in large part to the abundant domestic supply of natural gas in the U.S.
In fact, in 2017, the United States became a net exporter of natural gas for the first time since the late 1950’s.
But, recently, Russia and Saudi Arabia flooded the oil market in an attempt to destroy American energy producers. And, China has a near monopoly on the rare earth metals that many renewable sources, like wind and solar energy, rely on.
Taking advantage of our abundant, domestic American resources like natural gas not only builds a more prosperous economy, but it also makes us safer with less reliance on these unstable and untrustworthy foreign governments in uncertain times like now.
