AFTERNOON TEA
America’s arteries
- The U.S. “has the largest network of pipelines in the world” with millions of miles stretching across the U.S.
- According to the U.S. Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration, “Pipelines enable the safe movement of extraordinary quantities of energy products to industry and consumers, literally fueling our economy and way of life.”
- Pipelines also mean good paying jobs. There are 58 jobs created for every mile of new transmission pipeline built in the U.S.
Did you know the U.S. has more than 2.6 million miles of pipelines safely deliver trillions of cubic feet of natural gas and hundreds of billions of ton/miles of liquid petroleum products each year?
From canceling Keystone XL as one of his first acts in office to the ongoing obstruction of the Mountain Valley Pipeline, President Biden and his green-at-all-costs cronies have stalled and blocked these crucial pieces of energy infrastructure at every turn. And, hardworking Americans are paying the price through crushing costs at the gas pumps to looming increases in heating costs coming this winter.
TEA agrees with our American manufacturers. It is time to stop playing bureaucratic games with the arteries of our nation and let American manufacturers get back to work. Please, head to our website to learn more about the importance of our American energy infrastructure.
