Balderson’s bill aims to set federal energy definitions to curb policy shifts

U.S. Rep. Troy Balderson (R-OH) on Oct. 17 sponsored legislation that would formally define three key energy terms for energy regulators: affordable, reliable, and clean — terms that he says currently can be left open to interpretation by the Executive Branch and may shift from one administration to the next.
