ERCOT expecting Texas power grid to be able to meet demand for upcoming winter weather

BELLVILLE, Austin — The Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) is closely watching the winter weather forecast across the state this weekend, but expects power generation to meet demand amid possibly severe conditions.
