Making a Ukraine minerals deal more sustainable

At a news conference Monday with President Emmanuel Macron of France, President Trump indicated that a deal with Ukraine on its mineral resources was imminent. During the casual conversation with reporters Trump suggested that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky could even visit Washington within a week to sign an agreement, though Zelensky himself has been hesitant to commit to any financially tied agreement.
