New England expected to have enough electricity to meet winter demand — thanks to natural gas

MANCHESTER, N.H. — New England is expected to have enough electricity for the winter.

ISO New England, the region’s electric grid operator, said the main source of electricity is natural gas. The rest comes from a mix of nuclear, renewable energy, hydro, oil and coal.
