Let’s get real for a few moments… shall we?

America’s electric grid is approaching a breaking point. Data centers, AI processing hubs, electrification pushes, and population growth are all driving demand for electricity faster than new capacity is being built. The North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) has repeatedly warned that large swaths of the U.S. are at risk of capacity shortfalls. In practical terms: we are running the nation’s energy economy closer and closer to the red line.
