Opinion: The Cold Hard Truth: The Left Is Outspending Us, Outworking Us, and Outthinking Us

There are some things the energy industry would rather not say out loud. This is one of them: the political left, especially the environmental left, is not beating traditional energy because it has better facts. It is beating us because it has built a better communications machine. It is outspending us, outworking us, and too often outthinking us. That is the cold hard truth, and it does no good to pretend otherwise.
