AFTERNOON TEA
Celebrating our Nation’s Energy Wealth
As we celebrate Thanksgiving this week, we at TEA are counting several things to be thankful for in the energy world:
- With the recent election, a whole new world of energy opportunities is on the horizon. Both in Washington and in states across the U.S., TEA’s Energy Security ARC can now become real policy that will bring affordable, reliable and clean energy to American families and businesses.
- And, TEA’s Common Sense Energy Agenda lays out a path of specific steps—from unleashing American liquefied natural gas (LNG) to building more pipelines—that can be implemented to make sure every opportunity is embraced and the Energy Security ARC is applied to every facet of American energy
- Speaking of building, TEA’s new “Build, baby, build” initiative aims to get America working to build all the infrastructure we need to make sure smart energy policies work in the real world. With investments in pipelines, transmission lines, LNG terminals and new natural gas power plants, we can build a brighter future for our country—literally.
- And, thankfully, President-elect Trump has assembled a dream team of nominees to take on energy leadership roles in his administration. These leaders have the experience to know what works. North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum as energy czar and Secretary of the Interior, American shale pioneer Chris Wright as Energy Secretary, and New York Congressman Lee Zeldin to head the Environmental Protection Agency are the energy trifecta we need to make these smart policies a reality.
And, we at TEA are also thankful for you, our followers. It is everyday Americans like you that inspire the work we do and empower the leaders that make the Energy Security ARC possible. A healthy and happy Thanksgiving to all of you.
