As we celebrate our nation this week, The Empowerment Alliance would like to remind everyone that our energy independence is essential to the American independence we celebrate.

That’s why America needs an Energy Security ARC.

Energy must be affordable for American families struggling to make ends meet under years of crushing inflation caused by bad energy policies.

Energy must be clean like the American natural gas that fuels our nation while already making us a world leader in emissions reductions.

Energy must be reliable because a system that goes down when the sun does can’t keep American families safe, healthy and productive.

Energy must provide security. When America is energy dominant, that means the world is a safer place both for us and for our allies around the world.

The only way to protect America’s affordable, reliable, clean energy security is by fully utilizing the abundant natural gas resources America holds. This Fourth of July, remember that we are still fighting for American independence to this day. The difference is, today our battles are fought with smart legislation from officials leading the charge for sensible energy policy. This fight is just as crucial not just for our energy future, but for our American future.
