On the one-year anniversary of being unanimously elected Speaker of the House, The Empowerment Alliance (TEA) salutes Speaker Mike Johnson for his pro-domestic energy agenda. Speaker Johnson has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to America’s energy independence and dominance.

Speaker Johnson, representing the energy-rich state of Louisiana, has never been shy in his support of U.S. natural gas and oil producers. He has rightfully criticized President Joe Biden’s and Vice President Kamala Harris’s war on American energy and its producers, from killing the Keystone Pipeline on day one to depleting our Strategic Petroleum Reserve and placing an effective ban on new liquefied natural gas (LNG) export terminals.

We share Speaker Johnson’s commitment to domestic energy that is Affordable, Reliable and Clean. In addition, he has embraced American energy production and seeks to eliminate our nation’s reliance on foreign oil and Chinese technology for batteries, wind and solar panels.
