Fifteen state treasurers are fighting back against the Biden Administration’s policy of directing private sector investment firms to decarbonize their investment portfolios. They sent a letter to John Kerry, who serves as President Joe Biden’s Special Presidential Envoy for Climate, stating their intentions to divest in any firm bowing down to Biden’s unethical request.
Collectively, the treasurers manage more than $600 billion in assets. As Axios’s Lachlan Markay said, “That’s a massive stick to wield in fights over climate and energy finance.”
Below are the names of the brave elected officials fighting fire with fire against President Biden’s unethical demands. If you get a chance, thank them on social media!

China is the global leader in coal burning, accounting for 51.7% of the entire world’s annual consumption. But that notorious ranking didn’t stop Beijing from recently directing coal producers to boost their coal output to meet increased demand while ensuring costs are not passed on to consumers.
Meanwhile, President Biden re-entered the United States into the Paris Climate Agreement back in February that calls for the U.S. to drastically lower its greenhouse gas emissions by 2025. Biden, by comparison, has told coal miners to “learn to code.” And unlike Communist China, there’s still no word on Biden’s plan to prevent energy costs from being passed on to consumers.

A recent poll shows that 58% of Americans are unwilling to pay more in taxes to address climate change.
But Biden’s “infrastructure” plan contains climate change provisions that will cost Americans $1,400 per year on average.
Say it ain’t so, Joe!

Americans are paying 55% more for gasoline now than they were a year ago. The current national average is $3.04/gallon. It was $1.96/gallon one year ago.
