On July 1, a new law went into effect making Tennessee the second state (behind Ohio) to declare #naturalgas a clean energy source, clearing the way for investment in increased gas production. Gov. Bill Lee and the bill’s co-sponsor State Senator Page Walley have signed TEA’s Declaration of Energy Independence.
This also illustrates that natural gas CARES, meaning it is a Clean, Affordable, Reliable Energy Source. Residents of Ohio recognize this and now those in Tennessee can join them.
