The oil and gas energy supply chain employs over 600,000 workers, with potential growth to over 750,000 by 2025, in jobs ranging from truck drivers to administration to architects.
According to the Energy Equipment & Infrastructure Alliance, for each one worker at the oil and gas production level there are three workers in the energy supply chain—and six more in the induced economy like retail, hospitality, housing, and other services. This is just another great example of the compounding effect that oil and gas production has on creating good American jobs!
